And Clarified Pineapple Juice From Concentrate

Clarified pineapple juice from concentrate is made by extracting juice from pineapples, then concentrating it by removing water. The "clarified" part means that cloudiness has been removed, usually through filtering or centrifugation, resulting in a clear liquid.

It is often used as a natural sweetener and flavor enhancer in canned fruits, beverages, and desserts. Manufacturers add it to products like canned pineapple, fruit cocktails, and juices to provide a sweet, tropical taste and to help preserve the fruit.

Clarified pineapple juice from concentrate is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the FDA when used as a food ingredient. It is a source of natural sugars and some vitamins, like Vitamin C. International bodies like JECFA have evaluated it. At typical intake levels found in foods, it is not associated with adverse health effects.
