Natural Peach Flavor With Other Natural Flavors

This is a flavoring agent made from natural sources, such as peach fruit or other plant-derived materials. It is created through processes like extraction, distillation, or fermentation to capture the essence of peach and other complementary flavors. The final product is a complex mixture designed to impart a specific taste profile.

Manufacturers use this ingredient to add or enhance the peach flavor in a variety of food and beverage products. It provides a desirable taste without necessarily adding actual fruit. Common applications include teas, yogurts, beverages, and baked goods.

Natural flavors are generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the FDA when used as intended. Regulatory bodies like JECFA and EFSA have evaluated flavorings, but specific evaluations for complex natural flavor blends may vary. Evidence does not suggest adverse health effects from consuming natural flavors at typical dietary levels. There are no widespread controversies regarding the safety of natural flavors.
