Organic Pear Juice

Organic pear juice is made from pears grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. The pears are pressed to extract their juice, which is then typically filtered and pasteurized for safety and shelf stability. It is a natural product derived directly from the fruit.

Manufacturers use organic pear juice primarily as a natural sweetener and flavor enhancer in beverages and other food products. It is frequently found in fruit juices, nectars, kombucha, and sometimes in baked goods or snacks where a fruity note is desired.

Organic pear juice is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the FDA when used as a food ingredient. It contains natural sugars, vitamins, and minerals found in pears. Regulatory bodies like JECFA and EFSA have evaluated fruit juices and their components, generally considering them safe in moderation as part of a balanced diet. High intake of fruit juices can contribute to increased sugar consumption.
