Organic Spinach Juice Concentrate

Organic spinach juice concentrate is made from fresh spinach that has been pressed to extract its juice. The juice is then concentrated, often through evaporation, to remove water and intensify the flavor and color. This process makes it easier to transport and use in food production.

Manufacturers use organic spinach juice concentrate primarily as a natural source of green color in beverages and other food products. It can also contribute a mild vegetable flavor. It is often found in fruit and vegetable juices, smoothies, and sometimes in packaged salads or sauces.

Organic spinach juice concentrate is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the FDA when used as a food ingredient. It is a source of vitamins and minerals naturally found in spinach. Regulatory bodies like EFSA have not specifically evaluated this concentrated form, but spinach itself is a nutritious food. No significant health concerns are associated with its consumption at typical levels found in food.
