Pectin Blend

Pectin is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in food. It is a type of soluble fiber, and as such, may contribute to digestive health. International bodies like JECFA and EFSA have evaluated pectin and found it to be safe for consumption. Research suggests pectin may have a modest effect on cholesterol and blood sugar levels, though more studies are needed to confirm these effects.
