Organic Grass Fed Milk Protein Concentrate

Organic Grass Fed Milk Protein Concentrate is a dairy ingredient made from skim milk. It is produced by removing water and lactose from milk, leaving a concentrated source of milk proteins, primarily casein and whey. The 'organic' and 'grass fed' labels indicate the cows were raised according to organic standards and fed primarily grass.

Manufacturers add it to foods to boost protein content. It is commonly found in protein shakes, bars, and other nutritional supplements. Its mild flavor and good solubility make it versatile in various beverage and food applications.

Milk protein concentrate is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the FDA for use in food. It is a source of high-quality protein, which is essential for muscle repair and growth. Regulatory bodies like JECFA and EFSA have evaluated milk proteins. Evidence does not suggest adverse health effects from consuming typical amounts found in foods.
