Carrot Concentrate

Carrot concentrate is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the FDA for use as a food coloring. It is a source of beta-carotene, a precursor to vitamin A, which is essential for vision and immune function. Regulatory bodies like EFSA have evaluated carotenoids, but specific evaluations for carrot concentrate are not widely published.
