Vegetable Nutrient Extract Blend

This is a blend of extracts derived from various vegetables. It is typically made by processing vegetables to isolate specific compounds, often for their nutritional or functional properties. The exact vegetables and extraction methods can vary widely depending on the manufacturer.

Manufacturers use this blend to enhance the nutritional profile of foods, adding vitamins and minerals naturally found in vegetables. It can also contribute to flavor and color. It is often found in plant-based meat alternatives, smoothies, and other processed foods seeking a 'vegetable' component.

Vegetable Nutrient Extract Blend is generally considered safe for consumption. The FDA has not specifically evaluated this blend as a single entity, but the individual components derived from vegetables are typically recognized as safe (GRAS) when used as intended. Regulatory bodies like JECFA and EFSA evaluate many individual food ingredients, but a specific evaluation for this broad blend is unlikely. At typical consumption levels, it is not associated with adverse health effects.
