Vegetable and cooking oils are fats extracted from plants, commonly used for frying, baking, sautéing, and in salad dressings. This category includes a wide variety, such as canola, corn, olive, sunflower, and sesame oils. When choosing oils, the Nutrition Facts label can provide helpful information.
